ICON – ACTUATED JACKETED FLUSH BOTTOM BALL VALVE

ICON Jacketed flush bottom ball valves ideally suitable for the free-flowing of liquid or slurry, which tends to change its physical/chemical state while passing through the valve due to differential temperature. To maintain these physical & chemical properties flush bottom ball valves are provided with the jacket to circulate the required cooling or heating media to keep the properties of flowing material constant. Steam, oil or water can be circulated in the jacket for heating or cooling of the liquid or slurry passing through the valve. Also these valves are used where space below vessel, tank or reactor is insufficient, and “Y” type tank bottom valve cannot be used.

Pneumatic rotary actuators are used to automate the working of the ICON Jacketed Flush Bottom Ball Valve. The actuators can be single acting or double acting as per requirement.
